| Whilst promoting a campaign, which
involved coordinating all event logistics. There was an occasion
where a venue location was experiencing electrical problems on the
day of one particular event. Having been responsible for generating
media coverage to build awareness of this event through press releases
and media coverage, I had to source a new venue within a short turnaround
time, which could fulfill the necessary requirements for the day,
including conference rooms, Media equipment, staff and catering
duties.
Having secured a new venue at an additional cost, I decided to
go ahead and change the location, personally contacting all attendees,
rather than risk their disappointment, if our original location
was not able to meet the necessary demands.
