What is your opinion regarding promotions and salary increases
What do you expect in way of salary if we give first offering of this employment opportunity to you?

In an era of financial uncertainty and intense competition, recession brings out the entrepreneurial spirit in many prospective candidates due to jobs being harder to find.


I would hope the salary offered would be based on my qualifications and years of experience. I understand, as a new employer, the salary offered could be commensurate with my credentials and also consistent with industry standards and what similar employees earn at the company.

My hope would be that a successful salary negotiation, between me and the employer would be satisfactory to both parties, as all negotiations are part of a compromise and neither party ever gets everything that they wanted at the outset.
